Thanks for helping to make the 2008 Bike Rider's Ball a HUGE success!

The 2008 Prom Committee would like to extend gratitude towards the volunteers who gave their time, skillz, artwork, energy and thought to the planning and execution of the weekend... And also to the folks who came from far-off lands just to party with us!

Above all, special recognition is due to the locals who are here every day, riding their bikes and building community in our fair island city. Y'all are wonderful.

Bring helmets, bikes, lights, glee, delights!

Tell your friends. Especially the ones who won't be at the Prom.

NOTE: Helmets are MANDATORY in this city. It is ILLEGAL to ride a bicycle while not wearing one. The police can and will give you a ticket for doing so.
This can be EXPENSIVE.
If you need to borrow a helmet, please LET US KNOW!

First-ever Victoria screening! Straight out of Portland and fresh from a North American tour, the creative minds of BikeSmut.com have ventured forth to our island to bring you The Pornography of the Bicycle, a critically-acclaimed "series of short films on the theme of bike porn"!

Rumour also has it that this evening's audience may see the premiere of the long-awaited Velo Vixen documentary... So if you've been wanting to learn more about Victoria's only bicycle dance troupe, don't miss this opportunity!

The evening will also feature displays of bicycle-inspired artwork from local talents, in conjunction with the ongoing Bike Art Show at Studio 16.5 in Fan Tan Alley.
